Tips to Keep the Summer Fun
Kids want to have fun over the summer, without a doubt. Here are some tips to help when you want to assist keeping that boredom at bay. Start out every night by taking some time to come up with a game plan to help construct and get the next day ready for fun and adventure. Don’t forget to include some physical activity in your plan (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu perhaps). It’s okay to set boundaries on what you kids can and can’t do while you’re at work for the day but let them know the “why” they aren’t allowed. This will help prevent them from doing this activity, keeping them safe or out of trouble, and find something else fun to do. We all know that kids today love electronic devices and it’s important to put limits on their use of them which will lead them to have to use their imaginations to create fun. Also, don’t forget to be a good role model for them. Practice what you preach. If the kids are hiking or swimming, get out there and do it with them. Kids will often make better choices if their role model makes the right choices. I hope these few tips will help in the struggle to relieve your children’s boredom and you make you look like a super parent at the same time.
